CINCINNATI - The Bengals have signed free-agent cornerback R.J. Stanford from the Dolphins, giving them a player with a lot of experience on special teams. Stanford was Carolinas seventh-round pick in 2010. Miami acquired him off waivers in 2012. He has appeared in 41 games in his career and has one interception. He played in the first 13 games last season and was sixth in tackles on special teams. He missed the last three games because of an ankle injury.
